8" x 8" collages on ceramic tiles retail at $60 each. I used several pages from a 1959 Montgomery Ward vintage catalog collaged with Golden’s Gel Medium. The buckled shoes are hand-illustrated right on the surface and then hand-painted with Jacquard© Lumiere Metallic Paints. Both pieces have several coats of Envirotex Lite©, (looks like glass) and the backs are covered in fel ~ resulting in a very durable functional art form. These can be hung on the wall in a large plate holder, placed on an easel to decorate your table or shelf, use as a candleholder, coffee table trivet, kitchen or bath hot pad.
